Donate 2,000 soccer
balls
to a great cause
Got any
new or slightly used soccer balls you don't need? Well, there are plenty of kids
who would love to have them. Ana Aguilera, one of SCCSA's rec players, has begun
a community service project to collect new or slightly used soccer balls to send
to orphans and needy children all over the world. The balls will be going to
many countries, such as South Africa, Mexico, Honduras and others. Ana's goal is
to collect more than 2, 000 soccer balls by Aug. 25, 2008. If you have a ball to
donate, you can drop it off at 1305 Baltimore Pike, Toughkenamon, PA 19374. It's
the house in front of the car wash between Union Street and Baltimore Pike.
Plus, every Saturday between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. you can drop balls off at the
Presbyterian Church in Toughkenamon. Please help if you can. Whether you have
only one ball to donate or 10, it's for a great cause.
